Dear WRAP Participants:

In our ongoing efforts to continually improve the WRAP certification program and increase its relevance and reliability, we will be communicating with you on a regular basis throughout this year to inform you of various enhancements to our program. One such new feature is that beginning with audits scheduled in 2007, WRAP will be requesting its accredited monitoring firms to conduct all audits (initial and renewal) on an unannounced basis, within a four-week window.

We are asking all monitors to go ahead with the new unannounced policy for all audits where the scheduling process is now beginning. We completely understand that there are audits already scheduled for dates in early 2007 that were actually penciled in sometime during the end of 2006, when this policy was not in effect. It is only for audits where the scheduling process itself will begin in 2007 that this policy comes in. Thus, audits that are already scheduled for specific dates may proceed as scheduled.
